Ireland votes No

The Irish have voted No to the Lisbon Treaty. However, Europe’s political establishment plan to carry on regardless, including in the UK.

A petition has been set up on the Downing Street website calling on Gordon Brown to respect the Irish No, and stop the ratification process of the Lisbon Treaty. To sign it, click here.

For more information on the implications of the Irish no, please visit the website of Open Europe: www.openeurope.org.uk.
