A guide to the Constitutional Treaty
The think-tank Open Europe has published a comparative text of the new Constitutional Treaty, and a new guide to what it means. The guide argues that the Government's claims that the UK has signed up to 'different' version of the treaty are misleading, as the present 'red lines' are the same as those for the original Constitution. The guide gives an overview of the main changes brought about by the revised Constitution, in areas ranging from foreign policy to justice and home affairs.
